World Street National Champion
What a great week end of testing, qualifying and going rounds during eliminations the end up the 2009 Extreme Import Champion. The first time in 9 years for the imports cars to be back at this world calls event with hundreds of race cares and thousands of fans. I have to rate this event at one of the best I have ever attended and competed in.
As many of you know, the RX-8 has been "living in Orlando" this year due to the lack of any quality drag racing for our cars here in Texas. Consequently, I have had to rely on my friends (PITO) to prepare the car who has also driven the car and won a couple of events with the Nuclear Banana. We didn't have the fastest car but we did have the most consistent car which usually always wins at the end of the day. Event Video: Link. |
